Support Services

Bethel College is dedicated to your success. We offer support services to address academic and career goals as well as physical and mental health. Through academic and career services we will help you identify, plan for and achieve your educational goals. With the help of health and counseling services, we encourage overall good health, which is essential to academic success.

Academic Health Center
The Academic Health Center provides a wide range of services, including health exams, individual and group counseling, health promotion and acute care.

Career Services
Career Development, Student Employment, Teacher Placement and Service Learning Placement are all located at the career center in the Mantz Library. The director is available to assist you in developing and implementing plans, including individual career counseling and personal self-assessment.

CashCourse
CashCourse is a non-commercial website designed with college students in mind. It provides information to help students make informed financial decisions throughout their college years and beyond.

Center for Academic Development
Located in the Mantz Library, the Center for Academic Development (CAD) offers academic support free of charge to all students at Bethel College. It also is the liaison for students with disabilities.

Counseling
We offer several forms of counseling. The Office of Student Life works with Prairie View Mental Health Center in Newton to provide professional counseling for its students. Also, the entire student life staff routinely provide informal counseling.

Wellness Center
Bethel has a fully equipped exercise center in the basement of Memorial Hall. It’s designed to help students, faculty and staff promote their personal health.
