Discovery Adventure Course is open to groups looking for ways to improve relationships, functioning, performance or any variety of goals, through a physically, emotionally and intellectually challenging experience. The adventure course is a great tool for

Adventure education provides a fun environment of engagement, resulting in experiences that are unique and relevant to individuals and group participants. Adventure education can be delivered inside and outside the classroom, and Bethel College offers adventure course elements, activities and processes for this experience.
What's an Adventure Course?
Adventure courses are sometimes called Ropes Courses or Challenge Courses – all three terms refer to a collection of physical elements built among trees, from poles or indoors. These courses allow participants to engage in activities with risk that challenge them physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually. “Low” activities are close to or on the ground and “high” activities are much higher above the ground. At Discovery Adventure Course, your experience can include the physical low elements and will also involve a variety of challenging and fun field activities, games, riddles and ice-breakers.
Adventure courses challenge participants to assert their individual strengths and to come together and work as a team to develop and implement solutions. Each element emphasizes different characteristics such as self-confidence, communication, cooperation and trust. As teams work through adventure course elements, they learn about themselves and their relationships to others and develop leadership and problem-solving skills. Your experience at Discovery Adventure Course will be tailored to your group needs and goals.
