Residence Life

Bethel College is a historic institution rich in tradition where the rigors of the classroom are supported by a strong residential living experience.

Living on campus adds to the development of the college community. With two-thirds of the student body living on campus, friendships are quickly developed and support resources are readily available. The college is small enough that you can know everyone by name. You will experience a sense of community here and will develop close-knit relationships that last a lifetime.

The education of students goes beyond the classroom door and the library. It extends throughout campus, including the residence halls and campus living experience.

Residency Requirement

All full-time students under the age of 23 are required to live in Bethel College residence halls and participate in the College dining hall plan. Exceptions to the policy include students living with their families, students who are married, single parents with children at home or students with permission from the Vice President for Student Life. Any student not in compliance with the residential requirement and not having the approved exception is responsible for the normal room and board fees.
