2011-12 Hesston-Bethel Performing Arts Series
Since 1998, Bethel has teamed up with Hesston (Kan.) College to bring internationally renowned performers to the campuses of Bethel and Hesston through the HBPA series. Season tickets are available, at prices ranging from $65 to $75 with discounts available for students and senior citizens. The HBPA series is funded in part by the Kansas Arts Commission, a state agency, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency which believes a great nation deserves great art, and the National Dance Project of the New England Foundation for the Arts, with lead funding from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation and additional funding from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the Ford Foundation, and the Community Connections fund of the MetLife Foundation. Other sponsoring organizations include Excel Industries and Hustler Turf Equipment, Mid-America Arts Alliance, and the cities of Hesston and North Newton. Additional funding for the HBPA series is provided by area patrons.
