Coming events

The Bethel College Women’s Association is participating in the Newton community Five Places of Christmas on Saturday, December 6th, 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. The newly renovated Luyken’s Fine Arts Center will again be the venue for the Open House. This facility is fully handicapped accessible. Admission is free.

The display this year features Christmas collections from 25 contributors. Books, villages, angels, stars, bells, Christmas trees and Santas will be among the collections featured.

The newly released pendant featuring the Bethel College symbol of the threshing stone will be available in the gift shop. The threshing stone charm can also be used as a key chain. An 18" x 15" embroidered canvas shopping tote with the Bethel College logo will also be available for sale, as well as Christmas music CD’s, cookbooks and other items.

A bake sale featuring peppernuts, cinnamon rolls, zweibach, breads, tea rings, cookies and other Christmas goodies will be available. In addition, a candy sale, including fudge, toffee, buckeyes, etc. will allow you to buy your personal choices of candy. Cinnamon rolls and free coffee will be available for shoppers.
