Kauffman Museum is only Kansas venue for comprehensive bison exhibit

NORTH NEWTON, KAN. – It’s the mascot of eight Kansas high school athletic teams. It’s coined on the Kansas quarter. Yet within 30 years of Kansas statehood in 1861, the North American bison had virtually disappeared.

President meets more Bethel alumni and friends at Henderson golf classic

HENDERSON, NEB. – Dr. Perry White, Bethel’s new president, visited with alumni and friends of the college at a noon meal Saturday, Aug. 14, following the 17th annual Summer Thresher Golf Classic at Galaway Creek Golf Course, Henderson, Neb. White began his presidency July 19.
