Nursing Faculty
Bethel College announces openings for nursing faculty with backgrounds in medical-surgical nursing. Positions are 9-month contracts (full and part-time) and can include both classroom and clinical teaching. The ideal candidates will have 5 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing and experience in teaching in an academic or staff development setting. They will also value a commitment to a strong faculty team dedicated to excellent service to students and ongoing process improvement. A baccalaureate and a master's degree in nursing from an accredited school is required. Candidates nearing completion of the master's degree may be considered. Certification in the clinical specialty is a plus as is management experience. Salaried position with benefits package included.

Assistant Professor of Mathematics
The Department of Mathematics at Bethel College (North Newton, Kansas) invites applications for a full-time one-year appointment to begin fall 2012. Teaching load will include Calculus I & II, Multivariable Calculus, Discrete Math, Topics in Advanced Math, Modern Geometry or Linear Algebra, and Applied Statistics. Master's degree required, Ph. D. preferred. The successful candidate must be committed to the value of teaching freshman and sophomore level courses in the Math major.
