Cloud County Articulation Agreement

Cloud County Community College students who complete the following Competencies and Distribution requirements are presumed to satisfy the Bethel College competency and distribution general education requirements.

Competencies: Twelve hours

  • Writing:
    • A passing grade in CM 101 English Composition I
    • AND a grade of “B” or better in CM 102 English Composition II
  • Oral: A grade of “C” or better in:
    • CM 115 Public Speaking
  • Mathematics: A grade of “C” or better in one of the following:
    • MA 110 Intermediate Algebra
    • MA 111 College Algebra

Distribution: Twenty-seven hours

  • Arts and Humanities: Nine hours from two different departments selected from the courses below:
    • AR 100 Art Appreciation
    • Art studio courses including drawing, painting, ceramics, printmaking, sculpture, photography, stained glass, or jewelry and metal smithing

Core Requirements.

All students who seek to earn a degree from Bethel College are required to complete a course that satisfies the Cross Cultural Learning requirement, a course that satisfies the Peace, Justice and Conflict requirement and attend Convocation. Additionally all seniors are required to take the Bethel College course BRL 457 Basic Issues of Faith and Life.

Foreign language requirements

Foreign Language Requirements are viewed as graduation requirements and not as general education. Eight hours of foreign language must be completed to earn the Bachelor of Arts degree.
