Careers
The neuroscience certificate is designed primarily to support interests of students in psychology and biology and of those who wish to pursue health professions. Careers as laboratory technicians in biology or psychology are possible. With additional graduate or professional education, the study of neuroscience leads to a wide variety of careers. These include research or teaching in biology, psychology or neuroscience. Many different health and mental health professions including clinical neuropsychology, neurology, ophthalmology, psychiatry and health psychology are also possible avenues.
The Center for Career Development and Placement can assist students in preparing for and obtaining a career upon graduation.
