RN-to-BSN Program
Bethel College's RN-BSN program is designed for the practicing nurse who wants to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, learn with other registered nurses and master content specific to baccalaureate nursing practice.

Course Format
Hybrid model (one in-person class, remainder of content online) OR all-online for 8 weeks per course.- Complete your nursing coursework and final general education requirements within 18 months
- Program follows guidelines of Kansas Council on Nursing Articulation

Admission Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program within the past five years or, if longer ago, documentation of 1,000 hours of practice in the past three years
- Unencumbered RN license
- Current certification in health-care provider Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Current nursing liability insurance
- Criminal background check
- Current physical with immunizations up-to-date and negative PPD/chest X-ray
- Admission GPA of 2.5 from previous education
Bethel College General Education Requirements
- 6 credit hours in Arts and Humanities from a minimum of two departments
- 6 credit hours in Science and Mathematics from a minimum of two departments
- 6 credit hours in Social Sciences from a minimum of two departments

Anticipated Course Delivery Schedule
1st Semester
A - 1st 8 weeks
- Transition to Baccalaureate Nursing - 2 credit hours
- Health, Wellness and Teaching - 3 credit hours
- Pathophysiology - 3 credit hours
- Advanced Physical Assessment - 2 credit hours
2nd Semester
A - 1st 8 weeks
- Nursing in the Community, with practicum - 5 credit hours
- Healthcare Organizations - 2 credit hours
- Nursing in the 21st Century - 3 credit hours
Summer I
- A - Basic Issues of Faith and Life - 4 credit hours
- B- Practical Skills for Managing Interpersonal Conflict - 2 credit hours
3rd Semester
A - 1st 8 weeks
- Building an Evidence-Based Practice - 2 credit hours
- Nursing Leadership and Management - 6 credit hours (didactic only)
