Coaching
The Coaching Certificate is designed to introduce you to and prepare you for coaching in organized athletic programs. It supplements any major field of study, and is encouraged if you’re seeking teacher licensure or pursuing any other major and desire a coaching position or career in an educational setting. Once you complete the certificate in sports coaching, you may pursue coaching certification through the American Sport Education Program (ASEP).
